Survivors include his children, Rick (Jane) Schley, Gary (Donna) Schley, Sandra (Mike) Swygert, Donna (Tim) Townsend, Irene (Brad) Mayer and Stan (Rhonda) Schley; twenty grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren; two great- great grandchild and three siblings, Jimmy Schley, Kenneth Schley and Dolores Wilson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Schley, his parents and three siblings, Dorothy Schley, Norman Schley and Paul Schley.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church in McFarland, Kansas. His family will greet family and friends one hour prior to the service.
