October 13, 1942 - April 5, 2026 Robert "Bob" Jerome Peterson, 83, from Wamego, Kansas, passed away on April 5, 2026, in Manhattan, Kansas. Bob was born on October 13, 1942, to Bernard and Mary (Beasley) Peterson.Bob graduated from St. Marys High School in 1961 and attended St. Benedict's College, where he played sports. He served six years in the Army National Guard and later completed an agriculture course at Kansas State University. On September 11, 1965, Bob married Margaret Mees. Together, they raised four children. Bob was a lifelong farmer and stockman. He was devoted to his family and especially enjoyed supporting his grandchildren in their many activities, particularly sports. When he could no longer attend in person, he followed their games by listening from home. Bob was active in his community, serving on the local Co-op Board of Directors, the Pottawatomie County Economic Development Committee, and the Pottawatomie County Zoning Board. He was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church, served on the parish council, participated in Marriage Encounter preparation, and was a fourth-degree member of the St. Marys Knights of Columbus. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, of the home; children, Beth (Doug) Eilert of Beloit, Kansas, Dana Peterson of Manhattan, and Wade Peterson of Kansas City, Missouri; cherished grandchildren Meg (Joe) Malone, Luke (Kate) Eilert, Mason Eilert, Elle (Grant) Ginther, Dominic Eilert, Kolbe Eilert, Zachary Pieschl, Gabe Pieschl, and Gavin (Makenna) Pieschl; four great-grandchildren; and siblings Dave (Mary Jean) Peterson, John (Roxie) Peterson, Mike (Linda) Peterson, Steve (Mary) Peterson, Dennis (Patricia) Peterson, Anne Bradford, Tom Peterson, Kathy (Alan) Hale, and Jean (Kevin) Gualtieri. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved daughter Jill, and brothers-in-law Kirk Bradford and Jim Mees. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wamego with Fr. Mike Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home, Wamego. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home after the visitation. Memorial contributions are suggested to the "St. Bernard Catholic Church" or the "Muscular Dystrophy Association." July 21, 1932 - March 29, 2026 Ronald "Rocky" Clem Zeller, 93, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 surrounded by his family.Rocky was born on September 21, 1932 at the family home in rural Wabaunsee county near Paxico, the son of Francis Michael and Mary Maude (Deiter) Zeller. Rocky attended Paxico Elementary and graduated from Paxico High School in 1950. Rocky married Ruby Arlene Welter on September 4, 1951 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wamego, KS. He and Ruby lived in the Maple Hill, KS for over 45 years before recently moving to Presbyterian Manor in Topeka. Rocky worked in retail grocery before retiring as a machinist from Dupont after 27 years and Flexel after 9 years in Tecumseh, KS. Rocky was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wamego, volunteered as a Kiwanis Club Member in Maple Hill, KS and the Historical Society in Westmoreland, KS from 1986-1995. Rocky is survived by his wife, Ruby A. Zeller of Topeka; his sister, Carmen Hiegert of Paxico, KS; daughter, Victoria A. Zeller of Overbrook, KS; Cynthia S. Cervantez of Topeka, KS; Stacia L. Zeller of Fort Worth, TX; sons, James R. Zeller of Tyler, TX and Bruce E. Zeller of Salado, TX; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Mary Zeller; brother, Herbert Zeller; and sisters, Cecilia Zeller and Marlene Zeller. A visitation will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 17665 Old Post Rd., Wamego, KS 66547; a rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church on the same day, at 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM respectively. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. November 16, 1932 - April 4, 2026 Ruby Arlene (Welter) Zeller, 93, of Topeka, KS passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026 surrounded by her family. Ruby was born on November 16, 1932 in rural Pottawatomie county near Westmoreland, KS, the daughter of Wilson Ray and Georgia Beatrice (Chaffey -Domeny) Welter. Ruby attended elementary schools in the Westmoreland and Louisville areas and graduated from Wamego High School in 1950. Ruby married Rocky Zeller on September 4, 1951 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wamego, KS. She and Rocky lived in the Maple Hill, KS for over 45 years before recently moving to Presbyterian Manor in Topeka. Ruby worked as a housekeeper and at Josten Yearbook as a sewing inspector. A member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wamego, Ruby volunteered on the Education Board of Lynn Elementary School as well as the Federated Women's Club. Ruby is survived by her daughters, Victoria A. Zeller of Overbrook, KS, Cynthia S. (Richard) Cervantez of Topeka, KS and Stacia L. Zeller of Fort Worth, TX; her two sons, James R. (DelAnne) Zeller of Tyler, TX and Bruce E. (Renee) Zeller of Salado, TX; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Georgia Welter, her sisters, Valerie Haas and Valdimer Barrow, and her brother, Orland Dale Domeny. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Schley, his parents and three siblings, Dorothy Schley, Norman Schley and Paul Schley. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church in McFarland, Kansas. His family will greet family and friends one hour prior to the service. August 27, 1948 - March 26, 2026 Pamela Rae (Wyker) Pace, 77, of St. Marys, died on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at her home. Pam was born to Chester and Mary Jane (Jenkins) Wyker on August 27, 1948 in Belvue, KS. Pamela lived most of her life in the St. Marys area and was raised by her step-mother LeOra Hayes Wyker. She graduated from St. Marys High School and attended Kansas State University, Highland Community College and Ft. Hays College. She was married to Jim Pace on July 6, 1969; he preceded her in death. Starting in 1984, Pamela worked at the Kansas State University Diagnostic Medicine Pathology Department as a microbiologist. In 2004, she was awarded Employee of the Year for the Veterinary Diagnostic Lab. On September 19, 2011, she retired after 27 years, 1 month and 1 day. In 2002 she was listed for appearance in the Who's Who in Executives and Business, for her role as president of J&P Enterprises, Inc., a new home construction company which her and Jim founded. They built over 67 homes in Manhattan, Wamego and St. Marys. She was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star Loyal Chapter #176, and she was also a published poet. Survivors include her two sons, David Pace (Tina), Topeka KS and Eric Pace , St. Marys, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy and as well as her son, Craig Pace. A visitation was held on Monday, March 30 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Graveside services and interment were held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 31 at Valley View Cemetery in St. Marys, KS. She completed her life course in the same measure of grace and dignity with which she lived each day.

He was born on May 7, 1985, in Topeka, KS, the beloved son of Laura Jean (Carlin) Hannan and Robert "Bob" Kaneen Sayles.Harley graduated from Lyndon High School, Lyndon, KS, in 2004, attended Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS, and graduated from Wichita State University, Wichita, KS, in 2010, with Bachelor of Science degree. As a Petroleum Geologist, Harley enjoyed working in the petroleum business and was employed by many Petroleum companies throughout his career. He especially enjoyed his time as an independent contractor, prospecting and making new oil discoveries. Harley's hobbies and passions were for fishing, cooking, looking for new rocks, working on his Dodge Dakota, the Kansas State Wildcats, the Wichita State Shockers, the Kansas City Royals, the Kansas City Chiefs, working on oil rigs, brewing beer, cooking, grilling, and helping Stacey decorate year-round for the Holidays. He was known for coming up with thoughtful Birthday and Christmas gifts for his loved ones and friends. Harley leaves behind his girlfriend and partner of 10 years, Stacey Myers of Yukon, OK. and their beloved pet rabbit, Olaf. Additionally, he is survived by his mother Laura (Lawrence), his father Robert "Bob" (Shirley) Sayles, his siblings Laurina (Josh) Lloyd, Luke Hannan, Levi Hannan, Dalayna Majors, K.C. Majors, and his nephew Conrad Hannan. All family members and friends are blessed with the precious memories of their time with him. A visitation will take place from 9:30am to 10:30am on Friday May 1, 2026 at Parker Price and Davidson Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Ave in Topeka, Kansas, with the celebration of life service to follow. After the service, you are invited to join us at Rochester Cemetery for the inurnment. Following the inurnment, the family will receive loved ones at the Parker Price and Davidson Reception

Dec. 22, 1939 - Feb. 22, 2026 Carol Ann Thistlethwaite (Peterson), 86, passed Feb. 22, 2026 peacefully in her sleep at Good Shepherd Hospice in Manhattan, Kansas. Born Dec. 22, 1939 in Topeka, Kansas to Lesta and Irving Peterson. She attended Kansas State University. She worked 25 years at Kansas Farm Bureau Insurance in Manhattan. Carol owned a store in Breckenridge, Colorado called The Tourist Trap. She followed that up with many years of entrepreneureal retail businesses and part-time para-substituting. Carol enjoyed working as a part-time para-educator in 32 different schools in Kansas and Arizona. She cherished being with and engaging with her grandson, Cody Meyer. She is survived by her husband, Ron Thistlethwaite, her son Brad Meyer (Elynn), and grandson Cody Meyer, brothers Alan and Dale Peterson. Carol enjoyed teaching, Kansas State sports, children, plants and animals. In lieu of flowers, she requested that you make a donation to the charity of your choice. She asked that there be no funeral, so there will be a private burial service next to her parents in Morrowville, Kansas.
